Welcome to My Blogg on Getting the Physique You Want at Any Age

I believe that we can create a healthy, fit, physically attractive body at any age.

I have been training and helping others achieve their fitness goals for over 25 years. I believe that we can attain optimum levels of fitness and health at any age if we commit to changing our lifestyle. Challenging our bodies with results driven exercise and by consuming the proper foods and supplements to support that effort. My goal is to help you attain your fitness goals.

I began serious bodybuilding at the age of 58 so it has taken me 4 years to build my physique. My point is that you can start at any age. It's never too late to get the physique that you really want. A strong healthy body allows you to be able to do all the things that you enjoy doing and feel great about the way you look.

I am ISSA certifited but I do not have a certification in nutrition. I have learned through my own experences and know what works and what is a waste of time. There is no one cookie cutter approach for everyone. We are all unique and respond to diet and exercise differently.

Let me know if I can help in any way!

In health and fitness,

Fitness is a Journey....Not a Destination

Where ever you are on your fitness journey is ok.  It’s an ongoing process at any stage of your development.    Are you just thinking about getting your body back or are you well on your way to getting results?  The important thing is that you’re moving forward one workout, one week, one month at a time.  Consistency is the key.  Continued effort creates eventual results.  The issue might be what do I do next to get the results I want?   There is so much information out there, some very helpful, some a waste of time and effort.   It can be very confusing to glean what you need for your personal fitness goals.  Some may say doing something is better than doing nothing but that theory can lead to injury, frustration and eventual abandonment of your fitness pursuit.  You need good, solid information so that you can either evaluate your own current fitness level and create a plan of action, or hire someone else that can correctly evaluate your current fitness level and recommend how to start or keep moving forward toward positive results.  A good evaluator is a topic of another discussion.
The elements that create a successful fitness program include the workout program, a nutrition plan, supplementation, and recuperation.  I will talk about these elements in future blogs.  Again, if you have any questions I can try and answer…hit me up.  These are my opinions only, based on my own personal experience, training others, and what I’ve learned from knowledgeable people and intelligent, science based articles.

  1. You are so right! To get to the top of Mount Everest you need to take that first step, but without a plan could lead to disaster.

I think most people are intimidated to ask for help so they read a self help book or see massive guys in the magazines and now they think they can do it, WRONG!

To train to lose weight or gain muscle takes some time, effort and a road map.

I know Sharon can provide all that in one package, think of her as the Sherpa helping the naive Mt Everest climbers make it to the top, she’s done it and they haven't.
